Seriously? OK, let me start by saying I believe the practice of homosexuality is a sin. The Bible is very clear on that, but here is my problem…some people get so fixated on the sin of homosexuality, they don’t see other sins. This sin is no worse than adultery or straight sex outside of marriage. I recently heard a pastor on TV say that pastors need to get off of bashing the LGBT community and preach on ALL sin. He pointed out that most every straight, single person in the congregation on a Sunday morning is probably having sex. Also, some of the married people in the congregation are having affairs.
Another problem I have with this is that here you have two gentlemen who are caring for children with no home. Well, James 1:27 says, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.” So, these guys are doing what many of these Christians would not do. They took in children and gave them a home. This little girl deserves to be recognized.
Let me be clear that I don’t agree with their lifestyle, but it is no different than an unmarried couple living together with their kids or no different than a single mom having a boyfriend sleep over with her kids in the house (which could be dangerous if you don’t really know him).
OK, rant over. Just my two cents.
