The Weekend

She is exhausted. It’s her fIrst weekend off in months.

Things may go well. It could be a good one,

There will be plenty of time to catch up on things she has been wanting to do.

She will have time with her children.

Yet she still dreads it.

She dreads the time to let herself think.

She dreads the uncertainty.

Still, she must face whatever the weeend might bring.
